On 4 June, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
During the telephone conversation, the current state of Azerbaijan-Iran bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation, as well as the current situation in the region and security issues, were discussed.
Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi provided detailed information on the negotiation process concerning Iran and the latest situation. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts in terms of preserving regional stability.
The sides also held discussions on other issues on the bilateral and regional agenda and recent developments.
